Protection for Your Home Family

NSI's professional-grade low-level carbon monoxide monitor from Anderson Mechanical Associates LLC provides protection for all members of your family, especially infants, children, the elderly, or highly sensitive or ill people. This system alerts you immediately if there is a carbon monoxide problem in your home before it reaches dangerous, even deadly, levels.

The NSI Model 3000 monitor alerts you long before other monitors even detect a problem. It employs the same sensor technology used in professional carbon monoxide analyzers that normally cost thousands of dollars. Our NCI-certified professionals can demonstrate how this monitor can help keep your home safe and healthy. Call today to learn more.

Safer Carbon Monoxide Detection

Most store-bought detectors do not register an alarm until carbon monoxide levels reach unsafe levels of 70 ppm (parts per million) or higher for over three hours. Any level above 70 ppm can cause nausea, headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, and other symptoms. Long-term exposure to CO levels above 15 ppm can cause illnesses and even permanent disabilities, especially in infants, children, and the elderly.

The NSI Model 3000 can sense levels as low as 5ppm and uses the same technology that is used in high-end sensors used by contractors, fire departments, and utility companies. The Model 3000 is battery-powered for 24/7 protection with its Continuous Scan mode so you're protected even when there is a power outage.

Tips for Your Carbon Monoxide Detector

  • Have one monitor installed at every level of your home.
  • Mount your monitor at eye level in an area with good air circulation.
  • Recommended locations for your monitor include the kitchen, nursery, basement, master bedroom, rooms with fireplaces or gas logs, and areas near your heating system or hot water tank.

If your monitor goes off, check the level readings. If it is below 70 ppm, contact your NCI-certified professional unless you show symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. If it is above 70 ppm, immediately leave the house with your family. If you show symptoms, call us from a neighbor's house. Also, call your utility company to shut off your equipment until an NCI-certified professional can investigate the source of the carbon monoxide.
